Clean up drive program organized by Kuyili Organization collaborated with AKT Memorial Engineering College at Gomuki Dam Reservoir

DescIn collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (Mr. Ramkumar, AE & Mr.Boopathyraja, Green Fellow), Tamil Nadu Forest Department , Ranger Mr.Balu and Kuyili Organization a significant clean-up effort was carried out with the active involvement of 120 students from AKT Polytechnic NSS/NCC College. The event, held at Gomuki Dam in Kallakurichi District at 10:30 AM, aimed to address environmental issues related to litter and pollution.

We organized 80 Engineering Collegestudents, AKT Memorial College ofEngineering & Technology, Kallakurichii, andthe Kallakurichi Range Forest Departmenttogether for a cleanup at Gomuki Dam,removing 70 kg of plastic and glass waste.Alongside of Dam banks, we conductedawareness sessions on plastic pollution andwaste segregation.
